CCTV - Keep it clean

Keep lenses clean so you can get the best images displaying on your screen and being recorded. Regular cleaning can insure the lenses are working to peak performance. Also if you have bulky outdoor cameras it worth having spikes placed on them which will stop bird sitting above and getting them dirty.

CCTV TIP #2

CCTV - Let everyone know

Make it known you have an active CCTV system which is recording 24/7. This
does not guarantee that your property will not be burgled or damaged but act
as a deterrent.
Have a sign placed out side stating the property is protected 24/7.

CCTV TIP #3

CCTV - Get a bigger hard drive

If you have lots of cameras then you most likely need a bigger Hard Drive, a
lot of client we know have undersized system which cost them when
something goes wrong.

For Example; If you go away for the weekend and forget clearing your hard
drive it will stop due to it being full and if something happens it wouldn’t have
recorded it.

We recommended that a hard drive which will allow you to record for 30 day
minimum would be ideal. This is in case you forget resetting or in case you
want to go back 10, 20, 30 days before.

CCTV - GET A BIGGER SCREEN

If your monitor or screen is too small you won’t be able to see things clearly
and will miss out on something.
A bigger screen will allow you too see thing more clearly with out stopping
the system, rewinding and enlarging most of the time.
