Clean filter regularly in your air conditioning unit or have them cleaned regularly

When air conditioning filter are not cleaned a number or faults can start to
occur, for example – Air conditioning tends to consume 10% more energy
every month it is not cleaned according to research.

Also if filters are not cleaned correctly dirt tend to get into the drainage tray
and then into a pump which most units have, this the stops a floater in the
pump which tell the pump water level is full. If the floater is not indicating the
pump is full the unit the starts leaking.

The compressor is also affected by this because it has to run over time and
can increase the chances of compressors to breakdown.
A filter clean is the basic service a unit deserves but other services are
available which increases the life span of a unit whilst keep operation costs
down.

Air conditioning is a cheaper form of heating because unlike electric heaters
where you put in a certain amount e.g. £1 you get 1KW of heating, Air
conditioning when you put in £1 you get 3kw worth of heating! That means
you get 3 times amount of heating for the same price or you could say the
same amount of heat for roughly 33% of the cost.

Also unlike gas heating air conditioning gases are used over and over and
should never need to be replaced unless the gas leaks.
